There are many kinds of solid-liquid mixtures pumped by slurry pump. The abrasion degree of solid-liquid mixtures varies greatly and the pump operates.
Conditions vary widely. These methods for determining the life of vulnerable parts with considerable accuracy increase the difficulty. Even there is a characteristic change in the characteristics of solid particles, such as the change of hardness coefficient, which will lead to a great change in the life of vulnerable parts. For example, when the Pulser hardness coefficient decreases from 15 to 17 to 10 to 12, the service life of vulnerable parts made of the same material increases by 0.5 to 1 times. According to the statistical data under different operating conditions (Table 3-7-7), the service life of pump parts is determined.
At the same time, the service life of parts is not expressed in hours, but in the quantity of solid materials pumped by the pump before the parts are completely worn out.
According to the existing operation statistics, the service life of the pump parts can be calculated when the solid particles pumped and the material properties of the parts changed.
