、原动机的类型

泵的原动机类型选择一般可根据其动力来源、工厂或装置的能量平衡环境条件、调节控制要求及经济效益等条件进行综合考虑来确定。泵的原动机类型常用的有以下几种:

(1)电动机。具有结构简单、运行可靠、经济、寿命长、维护方便、价格便宜、体积小、启动操作简单等特点。所以使用最为广泛,凡有电网的地方都首选电动机作为原动机。

(2)汽轮机。只有在有蒸汽源的场合下使用,常为改善工厂的蒸汽平衡而使用。它适用于大中型泵中,具有可调速,防爆防燃下工作并可用于无电或停电情况下使用。

(3)蒸汽机。只有在有蒸汽源的场合下使用,它的体积大、效率低、转速低,目前已很少使用,只有在特定的场合下使用。

(4) 内燃机。包括汽油机、柴油机、燃气轮机。般在无电、停电或移动使用场合下使用,其相对体积较大,结构复杂,寿命短,不但购置成本高,运行维修成本也很高,所以只有在无电、移动情况下使用,常作为紧急停电的应急备用泵的原动机。

(5)液力透平。常在为了循环液体动力回收情况下使用,可以节省动力。
